Pauly

Juspal Ryatt (Pauly) began his journey to becoming one of Hamilton’s most provocative tattoo artists in 2015 when he took the chance to follow his dreams and travelled to India to apprentice under internationally renowned tattoo artist Lokesh Verma of Devil’z Tattooz in New Delhi.

    While there, he attended India’s first and largest tattoo convention, the Heartwork Tattoo Festival, where he met his future mentor, Paul Booth, an American tattoo icon who has created tattoos for many celebrities, including singer Corey Taylor from Stone Sour and Slipknot and wrestler The Undertaker. The two spent intimate time together discussing the craft, even visiting the Taj Mahal together. Pauly also had the honour of visiting one of the top 100 award-winning tattoo artists in the world, Manjeet Singh, of Manjeet Tattooz, when he travelled to the other side of New Delhi to meet with him at  after being inspired by seeing one of his amazing paintings on the wall while he apprenticed at Devil'z Tattooz . He had to discover more about this man – and that trip and the energy, knowledge and experience he gained had fueled him even more to be ‘the best.’ 


    When Pauly returned to Hamilton he put everything he learned from his rich experiences and explorations to use and opened Pauly’s Tattoos in 2017.  With a specialization in portraits, lettering, black and gray, and realism, Pauly strives to be the tattoo pioneer of his ethnicity right here in Canada. 


    He made the sacrifice to follow his calling and what resulted from that was a Hamilton tattoo studio packed with talent, great energy, and inspiration from across the world.

    We use single-use disposable needles and tubes for every tattoo. We also use hospital grade disinfectants before and after every tattoo.
